7th Son prediction

I am a big fan of the “Podiobook” (although not of the term “Podiobook”!) 7th Son. I discovered it by accident when looking for new podcasts, and this is a story involving conspiricy, cloning and intrigue. As good as, if not better than any Dan Brown novel.
The Author left a tantilising spoiler at the end of the most recent episode: 20. Saying that not all of the heroes make it through the first novel, inviting people to speculate on who would die. Despite the chapter ending with the priest being in the most danger, I believe that it will be the soldier, as his loss would have the greatest dramatic effect.
We’ll wait and see… in the meantime, why not click on the banner above, and download 7th Son for yourself… go on, you know you want to!

I’m glad you’re enjoying JC’s book and wish to thank you for helping to spread the word.
I’ve heard a few folks, most of them Brits, complain about the name “podiobook”, but no one has so far been able to tell me specifically what issue they have with the term.

lol…
It’s probably true that we brits can be a bit stuffy about our language!
I don’t think there is a single specific reason why I don’t like the expression ‘podiobook’. I think part of it is the combination of three other nouns: Podcast, Audio and Book. (although I suppose it could be argued that Audiobook is in itself a single noun…)
Each to their own, I suppose… I don’t like the word Podcast as an adjective either, as a lot of people use it. Another podcast I listen to always begins “Thank you for podcasting this show” - I’m not the one podcasting the show… I’m downloading it. If anyone is podcasting the show, it is the person recording it, so are they thanking themselves?
Not to detract anything from your site though - I have visited it on occasion (after hearing about it from J.C. Hutchins
) It is a great directory, and makes it easier to find podcast novels, which are not easy to find using iTunes.
