11/365: Full Moon

Today Mars was visible above the moon, and with a clear sky it made for a perfect opportunity to try and capture the two together with any detail on the moon.
Unfortunately, the time mentioned in the newspaper was a little off, and Mars was too far away from the moon to effectively frame the two, so I concentrated on showing my dad how to adjust the camera to take a moon shot with some detail.
9/365: Nastro Azzurro

I really enjoy a nice beer, and Peroni Nastro Azzurro is one that goes really well with food. Stuck for ideas for my 365 today, I decided to try a close-up of the bubbles coming up from the bottom of the lager glass.
With a makeshift setup of a white sheet hung over one of the dining room chairs and a light to the left of the glass, I was able to get the wonderful golden colour of the lager, but in retrospect, I should have gone for shutter priority and a fast shutter speed as the bubbles are a little blurred here.
10/365 Mixing Desk

Tonight I helped my wife DJ at a 50th Birthday party.
It was quite good fun, but harder work than I thought it would be, with people asking for requests and Karaoke numbers.
This was snapped with my iPhone and then dirtied up with Camerabag’s ‘1962′ filter. Camerabag continues to impress me with the way it enhances the photos.

Today’s picture is of an old cell door that has been placed on the exterior of Shire Hall in Warwick.
The inspiration to shoot this for today came from the fact that I’ve been working all day on securing SOAP messages using Microsoft WSE 3… which is as exciting as it sounds.
Taken with my iPhone and touched up with Camerabag (Helga & Crosscolor filters) which I think has really enhanced what was originally quite a flat shot.
7/365: Iontophoresis

I didn’t think I would be taking a second photo of my feet in less than a week, but today was the final treatment of Iontophoresis to try and cure my Hyperhidrosis in my feet.
This treatment involves passing a small electric current through the feet which should stop the sweat glands making sweat. Sadly, after 7 treatments I’ve had little improvment, so it looks like I need to explore other options.
