Went for lunch with some work colleagues to the tea rooms at Lord Leycester Hospital. Very delicious lunch, and resonably priced too.

Outside there is a metal statue of the Bear and Ragged Staff, a symbol closely associated with Warwickshire and with Lord Leycester in particular.

Bad pun, I know but I was struggling with my 365 today. As part of my Marathon training, I’ve been looking at my nutrition which frankly is awful. I don’t eat enough fruit, so i’ve filled the bowl up on my desk.

Although I ate a couple of handfuls of grapes, I still didn’t approach my ’5 a day’ so I took my apple on the train as I usually find myself getting hungry on the drive home.

After running the photo through the Helga filter of Camerabag, it seems to have made the apple look rather fake.

After all the snow, it appears that spring is tentatively breaking through and we had a gloriously sunny day today.

My Brother’s graduation ceremony took place in here, and it is a very grand place for such an occasion.

When I started my business, one of the first things I bought was this "Paid" date stamper.

Such a small, insignificant thing yet nothing beats the satisfaction of stamping "Paid" on a bill… I now use it for all my household bills too – something very theraputic about knowing you’ve done something.

A busy day at work meant that I ended up taking my 365 shot rather late today.

I wasn’t feeling particularly creative today, so it was a shot of my tea. I’ve developed quite a taste for couscous at the moment, and twinning it with a couple of veggie burgers provided a moderately healthy and very filling tea.

Got back from a nice long walk with Oscar and found him snoozing after I finished my tea.

I ran 9.5 miles today, and about 6 to do tomorrow – surely I deserve the lie down!

Went to see the Swedish hard rock band Europe last night in Bristol.

One of my favourite bands, they are so much more than "The Final Countdown". It was a great show, with only one disappointment that they didn’t play "Girl from Lebanon" – one of my favourites.

The iPhone isn’t particularly good in low light conditions, but I was able to capture this crowd shot, which I quite like.

It was my friend Katie’s leaving drinks tonight and we went into the "Tilted Wig" pub in Warwick, a charming little pub in Market Square with a lighthearted "Drunk Judge" theme. The Magistrates Court isn’t far from the pub.

This stern young lady is painted on the back of the mens lavatory door. I wonder if there is a similar image in the ladies…

Playing around with Autostitch again. Before our flight home from Jersey was cancelled (resulting in a 7 hour wait at the airport) we took a drive around the east coast of the island.

If we were to go back to Jersey, I’d like to explore Gorey further, but on a rainy, foggy Monday there wasn’t much to see.
